Strategic Consultancy & Project Management for Atlas Ride Co

When Osprey Packs planned its European Sales Meeting, they wanted more than just a well-run event - they needed a commercially aligned, brand-led experience that brought real value to their business. As a strategic consultancy partner to Atlas Ride Co, Raw Elements Marketing played a behind-the-scenes but vital role in making the project happen. From the earliest stages, we worked closely with Atlas and Osprey to provide the strategic planning, commercial alignment and operational guidance needed to shape a compelling and effective event. This enabled Atlas Ride Co to focus on what they do best: creating seamless, exceptional guest experiences.
Our role included:
Clarifying commercial objectives and aligning them with the event format
Developing the delegate experience to reflect Osprey’s brand values and business goals
Supporting budget planning, agenda structure and logistics oversight to ensure the project stayed on track
Providing strategic advice to Atlas Ride Co throughout the process to ensure cohesion and focus
By partnering with Raw Elements, Atlas Ride Co was able to focus on delivering the creative and experiential elements of the event—confident that the strategic foundations were solid and client needs were fully aligned.
The result was a successful, well-received sales meeting in Morzine that brought together Osprey’s European teams, reinforced key business messages and created a lasting brand impact before a busy trade show season.

Client Brief
Osprey wanted a sales meeting with a difference, somewhere away from a stale hotel conference room setup that would allow teams to dig into the new product and build relationships across the business.
It needed to be located in central Europe, close to a major travel hub, with one partner to deliver an end to end solution that could handle the entire schedule starting from the moment their teams arrived into the destination airport.

Insight
With the timing of this meeting just before a key selling period and the ISPO tradeshow less than 10 days later, we knew this was a key business moment as well as a significant marketing investment for Osprey to set themselves up for success.
Having being part of many sales meetings, we knew that having a platform for sales and marketing teams to come together for formal product presentations was the crux of the challenge.Creating informal environments built around the schedue for teams to come together to reconnect, share insight and feedback was equally important for a workforce distributed across Europe.
This was also a moment for the Osprey brand to show its position as a key player in the backpack and luggage categories to its sales distribution partners.
Atlas Ride Co have deep local knowledge across the Alps, with accommodation and transport options that enable a first class team that consistently deliver incredible guest experiences.

Solution
Working with the team at Atlas Ride Co. we had the pick of premium Alpine locations within their portfolio.
We quickly settled on a 3 day agenda, and narrowed the location down to Morzine in the heart of the French Alps. A 60 minute transfer from Geneva International Airport and the home of Atlas Ride Co’s French operations.
Using Atlas’ connections, we sourced a 4-Star hotel, exclusively for Osprey and their guests for the 3 day event. Atlas provided first class vehicle transfers for all guests between the hotel and the airport, with an additional van + driver from Atlas on standby to shuttle guests or equipment around town at a moments notice for any last minute requests.
The itinerary also included options for socialising in the towns bars and restaurants, along with a a guided hike to connect the meeting attendees with the product on display.
Atlas were also able to accommodate large shipments of event equipment and product ahead of the event for the Osprey team to coordinate.

Experience
With all the planning complete, it was time to handover to Atlas Ride Co and their team to deliver the experience. An advance client party arrived into Morzine 24 hours ahead of the meeting, collecting stock and product display units that had been shipped to Atlas Ride Co’s French HQ and set about creating an Osprey branded experience for guests at the hotel.
Guests arrived into Geneva airport to be met by private transfers ready to take them up to Morzine.
With the sales meeting taking place in and around the grounds of the hotel, it removed as many logistical barriers as possible.
Guests experienced local French hospitality at bars and restaurants in Morzine allowing time and space to review the days activities.
The final morning saw various groups head into the Alpine environment on a hike, guided by qualified mountain leaders. This gave each guest a personal interaction with the new product in it’s intended use and environment which would form a key part of their individual sales story.
Closing out the meeting, guests returned to the hotel to prepare for their return trip to Geneva airport and home.
